Congrats on the forthcoming additions to your family.

I know for sure that schools ignoring problems only makes them worse. I was fortunate to have very attentive parents and on occasion was the subject of corporal punishment at school, which only meant that I was really in trouble when I got home.(grin)

Congrats on you and your wifes family. I cant even IMAGIN what it must be like to raise 9 kids today. Hope they all turn out to be good Republicans!! (gg). I too took a serious interest in my sons education, never missed a PTA meeting or a meeting with his teachers. Verified he did his homework every night etc etc. Well he graduated from H.S. with honors, undergrad with honors, Master degree with honors and is now working on his phd and the GOOD NEWS is that I have not paid ONE CENT of tuition as he got all scholarships. Now they PAY HIM $24,000 to go to school and waive all his tuition. Course he works his butt off in the Lab. Some day you may read of a young man who has discovered a CURE for CANCER in AIDS patients, when you read of him, that is my son. His discovery is being PATENTED right now. Once its complete they will be making the announcement. jdn

<<I have now NINE children>>

Your own ball team. I'd put the goddess in as a pitcher based on what I saw 2 years ago. Local girl on the girls HS softball team gave up a homer in the first inning of the first game, then went 179 innings without letting a batter get on base.
