Reagan, to his credit, recognized the tax cuts were too large. When the economy recovered, he raised taxes. Bush shows no sign of doing that. He wants the tax cuts made permanent. My prediction: The Republican Congress will refuse to make those tax cuts permanent. It would wreck the country.

Well, I guess the wheels of justice move slowly. I notice they are working their way up the ladder now at ENRON. What I HAVENT heard is anyone going to jail or even being charged with GLOBAL CROSSING. I lost a BUNDLE on that stock and what REALLY pisses me off is I understand an arm of the RED CHINESE ARMY now owns that companies assets which comprise the best communication system in the world. jdn
