Dems should stop attacking candidates for voting for Iraq War powers. At the time it made a lot more sense than it did after Bush pulled a fast one and betrayed his promises by going it alone without a plan or a real coalition. It's very difficult when you can only vote yes or no and "maybe if" is the right answer. Dean never had to make that difficult choice. Also, most swing-voters still support the general idea of taking out Saddam.

"... I am for getting out of there immediately and turning over complete control to the UN and repairing our damaged international relations".

Lizzie, what success has the UN ever had to warrant your complete and absolute confidence? Perhaps its record of enforcing its own resolutions against Saddam?
