<<As strictly words, both may mean God, a God, the God, but in practice, in no way is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the same as the god, Allah, of Islam.

The one subject that turns it over is the fact that Mohamed denied the deity of Jesus.>>

Which by your idiotic reasoning means that the Jews don't worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Want to defend that?

<<Now...does it make you wonder why there is just a rush to clear the name Jesus from any part of American life?>>

You can start with the fact that Jews don't consider Jesus divine.

I suggest you read the book "When Jesus became God" to get straightend out on this subject. The Church tunred Jesus into God around 1500. Before that he was regarded as a man by the majority of religious scholars. You may choose to cling to your illusions though.

Well, you seem far more versed in this subject then myself, however, is it not true the Judiasm also does not consider Jesus a "deity" but rather just another of their many prophets? Yet, I am sure the Jewish GOD is the same as our Christian GOD, otherwise we wouldnt BOTH have the OLD TESTAMENT.
Now, I know you dont need this sermon, but for those unbelievers out there, I would mention two things.
1. There are TOO MANY DOCUMENTED MIRACLES for there not to be SOME KIND of Superior Being in our midst, I think it foolish not to recognize this.
2. As I reported here long ago (not making any attempt to dramatise it) I had a a "near death" experience about 13 years ago and during that I had an OUT OF BODY experience. I can assure everyone there IS A BEING and that is based upon my own observations (without going into detail). Take it for what its worth, but I am telling the truth. JDN
