The Americans are cowards. They use other countries to hit us. They don't have the courage to meet us face to face," said Khalil Matar, 43, who works in a state-run soap factory.

I suggest this guy may have to be more careful picking up soap after Iraq and Afghanistan. It may not be perfect, and the PR has been bungled, but the bottom line result is that the Taliban and Saddamites are no longer threats, both having been shown as disgraced power and money grubbers. Arafat is next.

Fellow student Murad went as far as speculating that the United States was behind the attacks, "to find an excuse for the National Missile Defence system" that Bush wants to deploy to protect the United States from so-called rogue states, despite widespread global opposition.

Wow - MURAD - if I were a paranoid delusionist, I might comment that MURAD is close to a word-scramble on Raymond and that perhaps this is where Duranged got the ideas that comprise his "Bush did 9/11" thread here on SI.
