why? was Davis going to institute something like that? Because seriously if some of these big companies who are US in name only would leave, speaking for the software area which is what I am familiar with, all that would happen is that the new crop of companies sitting in the wings would step forth and things would improve, for the industry and for employees. Companies like Oracle are engaging in nothing more than dumping on the US market. Fortunately they will be taken down by Linux anyway but a little heave ho out the door would facilitate the process.
