I am not an expert, but I think that fish waste is reasonable free of contaminants. Human waste is very nasty. It is full of disease. The contaminants in ocean fish are not coming from fish waste, or animal waste. Ocean fish contaminants are coming from untreated human waste. Have you read the warnings about not eating certain species of ocean fish, and not eating ocean fish more than once per week. Of course a lot of the warning is due to the mercury levels in fish. The oceans are huge, but they are already being overrun with litter and untreated human waste. UGH! You wrote:<font color=blue>"Even plants dump waste on the ground and in the water every day."<font color=black> OK. You wash your hands in untreated human waste. I'll wash my hands in plant waste. Then, we'll both eat corn on the cob without any further washing of our hands. Sound equal to you? You wrote:<font color=blue>"We need to control special situations like radioactive waste and nasty chemicals... "<font color=black> Agreed. Unfortunately, there is no way to control the enormous polution of our oceans, streams and air. The rest of the world has few pollution controls. In some major cities, you can't see through the pollution in the air. I don't know the answer. As long as billions of people believe that we can pig up this earth, and God is going to clean it up for us, we are all in big trouble. Regards.....
