<< Would be because I have a better DNA that makes me more able to survive? Or was it because I have never been an apartment cat treated with provolone cheese that made me have the right stuff? erhaps the result of decades of not having 'rights for this' and 'rights for that' made me a survivor.>>

You're wrong if you consider most Americans pampered prima donnas. We come from tough 19thC immigrant stock. My grandfather& great grdfathers all the way back to 16th C England labored in coal mines. They dug deep beneath the earth & choked on coal dust every working day for hrs on end to feed their families. My mother's side survived Ireland's famine in 1800s. That type of survival instinct does not fade away in 1.5 centuries. So, don't overestimate yourself or underestimate Americans. Our DNA is teeming with strong strains of ingenuity & our instincts have servied us well for centuries. Good luck with your endeavors and keep your eyes wide open for the next few mos. Presidential elections in U.S. are often earth shattering events.
