Hi Dude: Nope, I'm not a gold bug. I do have some gold from many years back and I actually did get it all out and pile it up in the floor the other night and look at it for fun, but your point about gold below is well taken.

Look at it chart over the last 20 years. Pretty dismal. Does not pay a dividend or throw any income at ya.

Yep.

Gold has had a good run this year, but so have many stocks.

I did hear one of the gurus recommend recently to have 5% assets in gold/silver, but I've heard that rule for 30 years. Well, actually, back in the "old days" the thought was to have more than that in the yellow stuff.

How many platinum eagles you have buried?

Think your Dad has a bunch some where?

Well, frankly, look at the actually return on gold since December, 2002, as compared to the market. Reality check.....
