"Here is a reply from Barbara Henderson, VP Investor Relations at Pacific Rim about the Nov 26 technical report on SEDAR:
The Nov. 26 report provides the technical details of the updated
resource calculation for the El Dorado project that was issued by
Pacific Rim in a news release on October 27, 2003. The regulatory
authorities require us to file the full report (175 pages) on SEDAR so
the public has access to it, but as you can image, it is far too
detailed for a news release, and is meant to support our primary
disclosure which is the news release that we issued in late October.

We believe the updated El Dorado resource calculation has contributed to
the recent increase in our share price, but it is definitely not the
only factor. A series of meetings we had with mining analysts about 2
weeks ago and improvements in the gold price are other influences, but
we believe the primary trigger that started the rally about 10 days ago
was a bullish recommendation for PMU in a US-based penny-stock
newsletter.

I hope this helps clarify our disclosure for you - the new resource
calculation is an important milestone in our advancement of the El
Dorado project and brings us a step closer toward our goal of becoming a
highly profitable low-cost intermediate level gold producer. In case
you haven't seen this yet, we also issued a news release this morning
with the results of our latest drill holes on the El Dorado project,
including a new discovery to the east of the Minita vein (which hosts
the bulk of the current resource). It is available on our website at
www.pacrim-mining.com

There you go, from the horse's mouth.
