Globalization is turning the world into one bland, boring vanilla flavor. Each nation should retain it's sovereignity & manufacturing idiosyncracies. That's what has made world travel fascinating through centuries. Who will enjoy England without double-decker buses, Bobbies, Harrod's or USA without Disneyworld, hot dogs & baseball? I don't want to use cosmetics made in France or canned pumpkin made in Netherlands. This multi-national craze is making me even more American than ever. My purchasing criteria these days is to screen out all foreign-made products. Most of my family & friends have begun the same process.
We don't want or need a one-world economy. The only beneficiaries are billionaires who become even more wealthy. What hollow lives they lead when greed is their primary passion in life.
