I agree with Krauthammer. The operant label for Dean isn't liberal or moderate, or extremist. It's nutcase.

What can Carl Rove say that will convince people that a fervent budget balancer like Dean is more extreme than budget-busting Bush? Bush spent every cent in the US treasury on special interest pork. What a disaster. Dean wants healthcare for all americans, that didn't play well with Hillary but here we are ten years later and in this recession or jobs depression or whatever it is, 10 million people have been added to the uninsured ranks. We have a crisis now and we didn't have one then. I don't get where the extremism label gets applied to Dean. He is anti war, is that the problem?
