I think Matthews likes Dean because he wants a campaign fight on the Iraq issue.

Matthews does not support Dean.
He doesn't support anyone.
He does not like Kucinich and the Clintons.
He doesn't like Bushies much either.
He seems to like most everyone else.
He may have kissed DEan's butt a little to make sure he gets him back on the show, that's all.
