you believe that the " Jewish state " is to be exactly that,like the authors of the educational thingy printed, and have NO diversity or ethnicity at all? This was never the idea or the practice - had they had such an idea in mind, they could have cleared Israel of all Arabs in 1948, they had a clear chance to do so under cover of war. Instead they made Israelis Arabs citizens. (Unlike, I might add, the attitude of every neighboring country to Jews) But the idea was that Israel should be a country for the Jewish people, where they would me a majority and control their own affairs instead of relying on the kindness of strangers. Sort of like France is a country for the French people. They can want to be French and allow minorities in at the same time, can't they? Nobody seems to have any problem with that idea. But try substituting "Jews" for "French" and everybody wigs out.
