Maybe your frame of reference is a little "off," Lizzie. Maybe taking down Hussein was the right thing to do, and Americans need to be made to understand why.

The candidates that did vote for war have to stand up and say it was a mistake they would never make again. Have any of them said that? Not that I know of.

Do you think there's a reason for that? Think they might know something you don't?

I know, I'm amazed their high-paid handlers let them blather. All they needed to say was, "I gave the Pres the benefit of the doubt, and now know I was lied to all the way down the line. Bush and the Executive Branch should be investigated thoroughly and impartially, and impeached if necessary."

They don't have the guts to push for any sort of serious investigation. Life is too easy, and their morals and ethics too easy as well.

They are all members of a Congress that have been chosen for their fawning spinelessness, have enjoyed the trappings of power, and now are being made to look stupid by the real powers-that-be.

It's a little late to make weak defenses against a resolute group of power-mongers.
