I would like to make couple of remarks. I was lurking or participating in this thread since its beginning with a brake of couple of years. I do miss the other people who used to post here with their daily picks but I do not think this is only the problem of this thread. When I came back to the stock market this year I have found out that most of the active forums from 1996-99 are less active or absent or became paid services. I have profited from this thread enormously this year. This is my second best year ever (after 1999). From Larry's trades in energy, from Dan's FLEX and TOY, from Ron's many ideas. I check the Z port for longer term ideas and the board daily for day trading ideas (if I have the time). Personally, I do not think that there is much wrong with our port. I do agree that it would be nice to have more longer term picks and I would try to contribute those. But I like Ron's flipping and when I did have time to pick his ideas up I did well on them. Also ... this allows me to observe and learn from other people trading style (since mine is very different). wiesia
