Nadine, the US thinks it can buy everyone with money. They have a bounty on OBL, Saddam, Ayman etc. etc. And still those folks are at large.

So this colonel guy is trying to make to money and fabricating. Gosh some of our journalists do that don't they. Heard of the National Enquirer, right?

If we do catch Saddam (may it be soon), and more officers begin talking, do you think even one of these anti-war-Bush-LIED!-types will admit they were wrong?

A friend of mine and I were discussing why Bush hasn't been more forthcoming with what the government "knows" about Iraq and Al-Qaeda..

We both agreed that it would be in Bush's interest, if they actually have real information backing their reasons for going to war in Iraq, that they will hold off in revealing this until the middle of next year as the election gets hot.

After all, if they put out the information too soon, it would just provide their opponents the opportunity to say, "that's all well and good and about time", but now what about all of these other things you (bush) has done nothing about??

And we also agreed that it might be just a bit controversial were such a scenario to play out. It might be the correct "political" thing to do in order to get re-elected, but is it ethical to withhold such information from the public merely upon a political decision.. (it would be far different were it a military or intelligence decision)..

But my hunch is that we're uncovering the "goods" on Saddam's regime and their role in orchestrating and supporting terrorism around the world.
