Nadine, the Jews have to put the holocaust behind them and start living like ordinary citizens of the world. The world today is much different then it was in the late 1930's.

The world will criticize a person just because of who she or he is. They do not criticize because of the fact that they may happen to be Jewish. Hence we should resist from making it a Semitic vs. anti-Semitic issue. If the world is constantly reminded of this issue it will never go away. If Mr. Mahatir has made a anti-Semitic comment, we should ignore it and move on.

The US also has a different role to play than it has been playing. They should not appear be tied to the hip with Israel. Israel can fend for itself militarily. If they had gone into Iraq they would have finished the job right now. I say so because of the successful Entebee and the Iraqi nuclear reactor deeds of theirs versus the failed US rescue of the Carter Administration. What the world community is baffled with is the US policy towards Israel and India, both democracies surrounded by hostile neighbors. Both surrounded by religions different from theirs. With Israel, the US appears tied to the hip. Always voting pro-Israel in the UN. very rarely remaining neutral With regards to India, the US has supported the neighboring countries primarily Pakistan. So I can appreciate those who say that the American Jews dictate US foreign policy.

Nadine, I have thought about Joe Lieberman and wondered why he is not the front runner if the Jews were all that powerful. Maybe you have some thoughts on that.
