Ultimately, when we get the bust, deflation may well be the outcome. But it hardly describes what's taking place right now. I think we have a huge supply and trade linkage problem and it's not just commodities, but the whole world goods moving system. Everything is seizing up, and that's quite inflationary, especially given the backdrop of hyper-stimulated credit policy.
