You are of course correct in identifying energy as an issue, but according to some folks' script, that is what the 40% revaluation of the RMB vs USD is supposed to take care of. In the meantime, China is one of the few countries that has a policy encouraging nuclear power. For me, the new nuke power station projects are coming ever closer to Hong Kong. For some, they worry about the safety of SUVs (flip overs), and cigarettes, etc. They have no clue what genuine concern is all about ;0/ Chugs, Jay
