That comment comes from the person who has such a firm grasp of the obvious that an award was named after him. So, if you want to feel sorry for someone, feel sorry for me that even Apollo feels sorry for me. That state of affairs is so pathetic that my only reasonable alternative is to go into an endless, irreversable coma-like depression that renders me entirely unaware of my circumstances.

You left out the third definition:
