The FUD you are attempting to spread is hilarious. One of your funniest posts yet. Be sure to CC: it to your vanity thread, "Just the Facts, M'am". They are sure to appreciate to rollicking hyperbole. :) ******** Re: On very simple terms, Dean is threatening to take the party away from the centrists including the Clintons. I agree, that is an exceptionally simplistic look at what is going on. :) Clintonistas undoubted see this in exactly the opposite terms. I couldn't be more delighted than to have Hillary Clinton out-maneuvered in her obvious campaign for the White House. The Clintons are simply far to far from the ideals of the progressive wing of the party for my tastes. Not that Dean is a flaming liberal by any means. I view Dean as far more sensible about limited government than either the power-hungry Clintons, or the GHP's Totalitarian Wannabee-In-Chief. *** Re: That is Dean's only hope, to totally dominate and win over everyone. Ummm, as opposed to, say, George Bush who stole the 2000 election with a mere 26% of the electorate purportedly casting a ballot for him? *** Re: Dean hasn't even gotten the estabishment liberals behind him yet. Pelosi isn't backing him for instance. gwu.edu Pelosi has effectively boxed herself out of the serious horsetrading in Boston. I fully expect her to encourage Dick Gephardt to withdraw from the fray by no later than mid-February. It is crucial that the Democrats coalesce behind Dean ASAP. Only by presenting a unified (and vocally anti-Bush) front will the party be able to overcome the advantages that incumbency offers the Thief-In-Chief.
