Wouldnt have mattered, Kennedy has made such an ass of himself lately that Kerry's association with Kennedy (joined at the hip some say) would have doomed him anyhow. The fight with Dean is going to be a lot more fun. I am just waiting to see in the BUSH/DEAN debates if Bush can cause him to blow a fuse. I bet he can then the world will watch the meltdown. jdn

That is true. The nomination was Kerry's to lose, and he did.

He must have underestimated Dean's tenacity. I never expected such a complete wipeout.
