TOPIC: UN Security Council Vetoes

Nadine,

The veto does cut both ways. However, IMO, an honest assessment of the situation would lead one to conclude that the U.S. vastly abuses the veto privilege on Israel's behalf compared to the rather more restrained use of this device by other permanent Security Council members.

Nadine, did you expect Gore to come out in favor of Dean. Wasn't Lieberman the one to declare his candidacy after making sure that Gore had no intention of running?

Gore must be a Republican in Democrat clothing. He must be angry at Clinton because he survived the impeachment and thereby denied him a chance to become President. IMO
