I would if I could. Actually I am finished with my last gig so its irrelevant for now. But they signed a huge deal with Satyam the indian consulting firm so there is no getting out of it. The little companies should definitely do what that Boston entrepreneur did. I don't think that article is a revelation or anything, I think most US hiring managers know you can get US staff at half of prior rates for a whole host of professions. You don't hear the quality argument anymore with these offshore teams either. Management used to crow about how superior these foreign groups were until they saw the result. Now its just purely cost that comes up in discussion. Gartner is the culprit for the mess.
