Don't disagree with that, that's for sure. My statement was in regards to the meaninfulness of life [happiness?] of the children that ARE born... is there an implication that they somehow lead a more meaningful fullfilled life vs the preceeding agrigarian society for example?

The pope seems pretty clueless compared to any number of more enlightened leaders and sages... he pretty much just sits in the board of a big institution the way it looks to me. JMO of course, never met him.
