Mind-blowing news, absolutely. Howard Dean just won the nomination. Maybe it was a move to unify now. We were certainly headed for a split party otherwise.

Well, I'll say one thing for Dean, he did the almost impossible, and he's very good at self-defense and offense, unlike Dukakis. Now he'll meet a southern running mate. Probably Clark unless Gore wants to be Veep again, which I doubt. This kills Kerry and Lieberman. Gephardt has only one shot but is now behind in Iowa. Could effectively end the Dem campaign.
