The British still stand by the story. Simply because your guy says it was "unlikely" doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I think there's still a lot more to find out, and it could take years. When we do, I hope it's not because of a mushroom cloud rising over some city in the US.

That possibility doesn't seem to terrify you, though, so if it does happen, I hope it's in your neck of the woods and not mine.
