Dean wins but all deanies should refrain from far-left rhetoric now. No need for it anymore. No conspiracy theories about Bush personally planning 9-11 just so he could embrace ravaged firemen and win New York's electoral votes. gg

This endorsement gives dean total legitimacy all the way into the moderate wing. Now they need to fight for those moderate swing-voters. With Clark and everyone else on his side, Dean could do it. Dean does have a unique way of unmasking Bush.

I can't wait to see American Spirit's spin.

No spin, just abject surrender.

I'm a Deanie now I guess.

Gore's endorsement is not too surprising when you recall the tenor of Gore's rhetoric in recent months. Maybe Gore was tired of the rumors concerning his own ambitions. Or as John suggested, there might be some Clinton issues at work here. I watched Tim Russert interview Ms. Hillary yesterday and she was very coy when Russert tried to get an unequivocal "No" for 2004. She looked very demure in her pink outfit and had a lot to say about right wing conspiracies. When Russert pressed her on 2004, she gave that unsettling laugh of hers and said something to the effect of "Silly man."

Hillary was also interviewed by George Stephanopoulos yesterday. How do you interview someone who used to yell at you on a regular basis? ABC must have also been concerned because George Will also participated in the interview and provided adult supervision.

Still too early to start and Impeach Dean thread, but we are getting close. <gg>
