Most of the women I know do not think quota's or the single minded pursuit of abortion on demand is the best course of action for the majority of women. The womens movement seems to be representing a vocal minority from what I have seen. Very similar to all of politics today.

I am not arguing that advances have been made since the 30s. But I look at my own daughters - what they will face. The elder will want to stay home with her baby, but I doubt her husband will agree. My niece is in the same situation. My point is that the focus is gradually coming back to the children, to the family, to what is best for that....and many will want to stay home and raise their children. I am fortunate to have been able to do just that, and I will never regret that.

"But that has to be the fringe."

Has anyone ever noticed that when lefties disagree with
issues raised in a discussion, they automatically blame
the differing views on conspiracies or the fringe element.
It's so much easier than dealing in facts or reality.

"Mostly I find....."

This is Lizzie's database of facts & reality. She can
never lose an argument that way. And she gets to live in
her perception of reality, convinced she has proven you
wrong.
