The feminists disagree with you. They claim all the stressed out working moms/women out there are becoming personally fulfilled and empowered through ther work, and achieving freedom from the bondage and imprisonment of motherhood.

I'm no expert, and I don't know if any studies have been done, but just through observation of my daughter's friends, I see a lot of guys who expect their wives to work and contribute. No matter what the financial situation. Time will tell, though.
