Looking at the numbers we are within the guidelines of the original port with a few exceptions. I wanted to address a few of your points too, “I tend to trade the same stocks over and over again, although the stocks that I trade varies throughout the year.” Let's be honest here. How many of you have ever traded a stock that I posted? I think we all do. We tend to own/trade what we know and have experience with. We are comfortable with stocks we have a “feel” for. However, there are new ideas to be found. In regards to how many trades do we actually do from posts on the Z, I think there are more than you think. For example only have Dan and I traded FLEX, but SMTC, CREE, MTXX and another one or two. I have traded some of same stocks Ron has post and I have owned no less than 8 stocks Larry has talked about too (albeit at times when he was long and I was shorting the same one, ggg) I know Dan you have openly invited new ppl to join in. It was good to hear from Carl too. New ideas are key to improving what we already have. Ultimately new ppl who want to join must feel they get some benefit from it. I would like to invite our posters to speak on stocks they are interested in and you are more than welcome to join the Z port. On a note concerning the Z. Will we sell and/or cover positions down more than say 15% by year-end? If those stock bot more than a month ago are still under water why not take the losses and repurchase next year? Ron, not to be overly critical here but your continued shorting of TASR seems not to be working. $146,000 is tied up with shorts it TASR with the stock showing no signs of weakness. On paper that’s over 23K in the red. What happens if the stock goes to $100? At what point to you say times time to either play it long for quick scalps or just cover the losses before the hole is deep still? TOY: we posted stories about how the competetion was hurting TOY sales. It's clearer now that despite low valuations TOY was in trouble and was risky to own when in the low teens. Perhaps shorting it and waiting for the SD's is the best way to make $$$
