Gee Doug, that kind of outlook would mean you would never invest. As it is, only GE exists from the Dow components of about 100 years ago, the other 29 no longer exist. But there is time to make money and time to get out. Proper technical management of a stock (Enron) will get you out while others hold hoping for a comeback, look at this:

Bottom line is ABX has out performed both NASD and DOW index this year.
