Hi Larry.

Russian oil or any oil being bought with Euros won't have an immediate impact on the US dollar. The trade will still need dollar conversion and be based on the dollar. Longer term implications and perception is the problem.

If the car companies make a formal announcement about switching over to Palladium for the manufacture of catalyctic converters, PAL's price will really take off. Palladium prices are still low. This won't last forever.
