brief interview of Samuelson on CNBC on globalization this man is a shell of an economist, sad commentary of US brain trust his views have helped to bankrupt America and destroy its economy he claims globalization is part of progress but it does not benefit everybody some win, some lose, but overall we in USA benefit from lower costs he expects increase in US citizens saving rate and standard of living thru 2010 he apparently did not choose to address how globalization has gutted the US Economy, sent jobs abroad in a massive outflux, and resulted in crippling debt that has essentially destroyed all future prospects for our national financial well-being Samuelson and Friedman are economic hacks they will go down as sad poster boys on a destroyed economy the hemlock was uncontrollable accumulation of DEBT THE US ECONOMY IS ON ITS DEBT DEATH BED new debt and money creation has the same effect as SPINNING GEARS / jim
