MBAA is one of the most informative websites out there. One has to look at the great data they provide, vs their obviously biased conclusions.

WM management is clearly from the over promise under deliver school. They are dreaming about market share that they are going to get, as if everyone else will move out of their way.

They funded a ton of loans which were locked in at the lowest rates back in June. I wonder if they are still in their portfolio or already dumped. In either case, there should be a charge off coming.

They are still planning as if the refi mania of a life time could be a recurring event.

Could this be the final wake up call for the mortgage industry?
