Yes, it's amazing to me how misconstrued they have things. And to say in so many words as elect did that the Revelation of John is irrelevant is incredible to me. How easy to dismiss all the prophesies that are being fulfilled now so they need no explanation to justify how they interpret everything concerning Revelation prophesy. They totally dismiss the "times of the gentiles" which we have been in for almost 2,000 years now. They won't even admit that the great tribulation could not have happened yet although the evidence is clearly there. There were no chemical weapons or nuclear weapons used to defeat Israel and storm Jerusalem in 70 AD. WWI and WWII caused many multiples more deaths than the defeat of Israel. In 1918 influenza swept across the entire world causing 20 million deaths. There were more deaths in the black plagues of Europe than in Israel in 70 AD. Common sense dictates that the times of the gentiles had to be more than a few years between Jesus ascending and 70 AD. The times of the gentiles is the time of the Church. The Church age. Why would God spend 2,000 years on the first imperfect covenant and then only a few years on saving the world through the 2nd perfect covenant of His Son, Jesus Christ! God would want more return on His investment than that!
