Mars...

that thing... has the shape of a triangular egg, the head-lights protrude like a bug-eyed frog, it has little wheels that look like small paws... and the back end looks like they kicked its butt, or it is one of those tailless cats... I think they are called Manx cats...

Hey... they should have called it the Manx... -lol

Also my friend who is a senior editor over at PC World , routinely drives his up and down the coast 600+mis
between SF and northern Calif , and he loves it. It is an elegant little machine, blending both worlds very nicely.

well, I am sure that your friend is a very good PC magazine editor... [and not a car magazine editor -LOL] efficient... no doubt, as I had said I have been peeking here and there at a distance on those electric/gas motor combos... and Toyota is one of the most efficient automobile companies in the world that has never been afraid of trying new things and eventually succeeding in them... btw... remember to keep an eye for their Formula One team entering their third year in 2004, expect some victories which will not be easy...

as for being elegant... well... see paragraph one above -g

here is a beautiful car, (without going to extremes...)

That's the Audi Le Mans...

and well... absolute beauty is here...

and to be fair... Absolute Ugly... -gg

I think the new Prius is actually a pretty snappy car.

Might consider one at some point - where I live is flat, and relatively compact. From one edge of town to the other is not more than 10 minutes. Ideal for a hybrid car.
