It might work for the Clintons too. If Dean-Clark is an eight year success, they might "gentle" the American public into accepting a woman president with eight years of Clark-Clinton, setting up Clinton-???? !

1. The war, just heard today the Iraqi security forces are now up to 140,000. At this rate ought to be around 230k or so by June 2004. Good chance they will take over much of the security of the nation and lots of our troops come home by November.
2. Jobs, I havent seen a single analyst or economist who doesnt predict massive jobs improvements over the coming months. Yeah, not enough likely to make up the total deficit but I think Americans are likely to be happy with the trend by November.
3. Medicare prescription upgrade--Some loudmouths have been knocking it BUT fact remains if you are poor (under $18,000 a year you get your prescriptions basically for free, if you are well to do your total prescription cost is guaranteed by the govt to not exceed $3,000 annually. I have read as much as I can find on the program and I think it a good start, when AARP ads start explaining it to Seniors HONESTLY I think they will realize its a pretty good deal and certainly the best the nation can afford.

So, considering above, IMHO Bush SHOULD be reelected regardless of his opponent. Now if his opponent is Dean I dont see HOW anyone could expect a southern state. jdn
