You're talking to the lady who stated not long ago that the current job situation is the worst it's been in her lifetime. Geez, I guess that would make her about 12 years old. Yeah, that would make sense.

I posted to you the Ohio poll which suggests Bush is stronger there than the Democrat candidates. It's hard to see Bush losing Georgia either, and Tennessee has been moving steadily to the Republican camp as well. Polls in both states have shown strong support for Bush. I think at a minimum there are more than 20 states that Bush has locked up. I am not looking at whether Bush is doing better than "the democratic candidates", because that is not really a fair fight. We don't have a democratic candidate with DNC money hitting George Bush's RNC money. The only relevant polls right now are the ones about Bush, specifically. When the dem candidate and his RUNNING MATE, are decided then we can look at those polls. You can't really argue with 42% disapproval rating on Bush, not exactly a winning hand to start from, nationally. As far as the south, Georgia, Tennessee etc I agree with you Bush will probably win those. But the south is all he has, definitively and that aint too good. For all the assurances that he will win the south, I can give you the same assurances that Bush will lose, to ANYBODY in the west and northeast, and there are more electoral votes there than the south. BTW there is speculation on investors hub that OPEC is deliverately driving oil prices up as a way to destroy the US economy so that Bush will go down. I also notice that PRs are coming out to prepare folks that this christmas season is going to be less than gangbusters. They are blaming the noreaster right now, its always something. At the core of all this is people's fear of losing their jobs. And Bush is directly responsible for the dearth of capex, he and his warmongering have made corporations shy to invest.
