Joan, as of the close today I have started getting into the PIMCO fund, PCRDX, though I never have seen a complete list of exactly what it is invested in. But the use of TIPS as collateral for commodity-linked paper, whatever it may be, sounds like a good idea. And it is handled without fees by my broker.
