Actually you are the one who is condescending. I think the Iraqis are a proud and capable people who can take care of themselves. It is YOU (and your ilk) who regard them as "poor people" that need help.

Of course, this is all revisionism. When we went to war, it was "mushroom clouds if we don't act right away". But now, you are using the Iraqi people as pawns in your games. You couldn't care less for them.
