Tinker,

I have noticed very high volume trading in SCON, which I assume is day traders playing with the stock..

It is possible that the market is waiting the current quarter's results. SCON has been pushing to become profitable this quarter, stating that it must hit the upper range of guidance to do so.

But, it is very possible that the market views it as speculative. Like many stocks during the bubble, it ran up to about $100.00. This means both overhead resistance and a possible label as "speculative." Expectations matter.

The science is sound; the business is catching hold, but prudent investor might wait to see if these ongoing trials produce paying customers. If not, why not?

I have tried to characterize the stock as a shiny pebble, where all that glitters is not gold. Although I don't believe it to be fools gold, I may simply be a fool entranced by its glitter. If it is golden, it will prove so in time.
