You did make a nice call on the golds ST top there but you have been way off on the general markets for a long time

On the threads I follow I cannot name a single bullish poster

Hi Andrew,

It always perplexes me why people would insist on taking a fixed position on any matter. Why not be prepared to change attitude and direction at any time based on ones cumulative consideration of all aspects and the fluid nature of issues. To have ones opinions locked in to what G.K. Chesterton once called "the clean, well-lit prison of one idea" seems very dangerous in our business.

At this moment I can see the Dow doing 5000 or 15000 and gold doing 280 or 700. That is my take and I will play it that way day by day. I'm neither a bull nor a bear. I've been through the Dow at 777 and gold at $ 800. I DO know, anything can happen. I seen national interest rates at 21% and conversely at 41 year lows.

To entrench in ones mind that this or that can or can't happen is not a good idea IMO.

Cheers

C

I shorted QQQ today. It is done slightly earlier than I normally do. I will short it again if it drops below 33.50. Good luck.
