Wasn't AmSpit fond of equating Dean to Dukakis up until a few days ago when he fell in love and jumped on the Dean donkey cart? ;-) PS: The closest Dukakis got to winning a southern state was getting 43% in Texas. Yeah, he and Gore sure know the south. Gore is sure to deliver it for Dean. ROTFL. PPS: Little-known fact - the only "border state" Dukakis won was West Virginia, but one Democratic elector apparently still couldn't bring herself to vote for him. She cast her electoral vote for Lloyd Bentson as President and Michael Dukakis as Vice President instead of the other way around.
