The empire still fell apart though, as ours eventually will also someday... It is pure folly for any one nation, no matter how powerful they may be at the time, to think they will "rule" the world... Human ego always gets in the way of sense and logic, and almost always has to be brought back down to earth, and then the cycle begins all over again... China's ego grows larger year by year now, so look for major trouble from them if things do not change fairly soon...
