OT In Saudi the dealer took me and a few friends to desert trip on a Humvee. They were selling -after Bush senior war made them popular in Saudi- a passenger version.

It was muffled had air con and stereo the ride wasn't bad.

The humvee is a big fat target to somebody on the ground with an RPG launcher. Combat vehicles and helicopters are becoming obsolete as hand held launchers grow in sophistication. I predicted this in the Marine Corps 47 years ago when it became obvious to me that I could have brought an entire "vertical envelopement" operation to a halt with an M-1, from a concealed point on a hill.
