"keep drunks from buying poison" Hey we are all for heath life styles but there are limits here! We are not fanatics!!!

Prohibition didn't work. Besides that: We can tolerate alcohool quite well up the early 30s' From there on your body doesn't tolerate it and naturally we slow down.

I went from sugar cane brandy 54% in the 20's. Gallons of beer up to late thirties. Few beers and wine during the forties.

Today very little beer and only wine. Since the consumption is small I can buy very good stuff. But once in a while -if I'm really in a good mood- I knock off a bottle of Jack Daniel's and coke with a friend.
