I'm pretty sure this is what my husband does with the exception of putting water in the pan when cooking the turkey. We rub the turkey down good with butter, tucking a little pat here and there, then we use the rest of the stick and baste him with it.

When the turkey comes out of the oven, then my husband drains off some portion of it, takes the meat from the neck and the rest of the gibblets, and works his magic!

It's always come out so creamy and good!!
