Clarke is a mumbling BS artist, far more political than most military men.

At the level of general officer, they are all mighty political or they would not have obtained the rank....

DEAN/CLARK in 2004. That's the Dems best chance for a winning ticket at this point. DEAN is a lock at this point, or practically, it would take a huge negative revelation to knock him out at this point. He's definitely not slimey like Clinton, so that's not so likely. CLARK will bring some military and Southern exposure to the ticket. Might tip a couple of border/swing states into the D column.

Bill, you know I agree with you. Originally I thought that Mosely-Braun shouldnt be a candidate (I thought I had remembered something negative about her honesty some time back, but now think I may have had her mixed up with someone else) but I have been VERY impressed with her articulation in these debates. I agree with your other assessments also. jdn
